The strong 3 W LED illumination is continuously dimmable, providing consistent brightness for different sample types. A fixed, pre centered and focusable 1.25 Abbe condenser with aperture and field diaphragm allows simplified Koehler illumination without the need for frequent adjustments. This ensures reliable and repeatable results.
The large mechanical stage can hold up to two specimens at the same time, with smooth coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs on both sides for quick and accurate focusing. For added flexibility, the OBL 137 can be expanded with a wide choice of accessories such as eyepieces, objectives, color filters, darkfield condenser, polarising unit, and even HBO or LED fluorescence units.
