At the core of the system is the KERN CFS 6K0.1 reference scale, which can also function independently. This precision scale is easy to operate with its numeric keypad, allowing users to enter reference quantities, known reference weights, or target values. For clarity, the system uses three separate displays to show the total weight, the reference weight, and the total number of pieces. A memory (PLU) can store up to 100 items, including tare weights, reference weights, and additional text.
The CCS 1T-1U also supports a fill-to-target function. Once the programmed weight or count is reached, it signals with both light and sound. During use, the reference weight is automatically optimised, improving the accuracy of the average piece weight as counting continues. A protective cover for the display device is supplied with delivery.
The U-shaped weighing bridge is designed for handling larger goods and pallets. It allows easy loading of containers, trolleys, or pallets directly onto the scale. Built from painted steel with four alloy steel load cells, it is silicone-coated and IP67 protected, ensuring resistance against dust and splashes.
This system has a maximum capacity of 1500 kg on the quantity scale, with the reference scale providing a fine readability of 100 mg. Reproducibility is 0.0002 kg, and linearity is 200 mg on the reference scale and 1 kg on the quantity scale. Even very small items can be counted, with a minimum piece weight of 1 g under normal conditions.
The platform measures 840 × 1190 mm with a height of 90 mm, making it practical for pallet and container use while saving space.
