The CCS 1T-4 is built to deliver highly accurate counting results for both small components and large batches of goods. By combining a precision reference scale with a heavy-duty quantity scale, it offers a complete system that can replace multiple individual balances, making stocktaking and production control faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective.
The system includes the CFS 6K0.1 reference scale, which can also be used as a stand-alone unit. It provides precise measurement and simple operation with a numeric keypad. Operators can quickly program required reference quantities, known reference weights, or target values for weight and count. The scale has three separate displays that show total weight, reference weight, and total number of pieces, ensuring full clarity during operation. A built-in memory (PLU) allows up to 100 items to be stored with details such as text, tare weight, and reference weight.
To support process reliability, the CCS 1T-4 features a fill-to-target function. When the target value is reached, both visual and audible signals notify the operator. The system also includes automatic optimisation of the reference weight, which gradually improves accuracy as the count continues. A protective working cover for the display device is included to safeguard it in daily use.
The KERN KIP-V20M quantity scale forms the robust foundation of the system. It has a weighing bridge made of non-slip corrugated steel plate with a lacquered finish for durability. Four steel load cells, silicone-coated and protected to IP67, provide strong performance and protection against dust and water splashes.
The CCS 1T-4 offers a weighing capacity of 1500 kg on the quantity scale, while the reference scale delivers fine readability of 100 mg. Reproducibility is 0.0002 kg, and linearity is 200 mg on the reference scale and 1 kg on the quantity scale. Even very small items can be counted, with the minimum piece weight under normal conditions being just 1 g.
The platform measures 1200 × 1500 mm with a height of 108 mm, suitable for large goods and palletised loads. The LCD display has a digit height of 20 mm and connects via a 5 m cable. The housing is made of durable plastic, with the display protected to IP23, and the platform and load cells protected to IP65. The system has a total weight of approximately 110 kg and operates in temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C.
