The reference scale KERN CFS 3K-5 offers fine accuracy with a readability of 10 mg, making it ideal for small items. It can also be used as a stand-alone balance when required. This scale is equipped with a numeric keypad that allows easy programming of reference quantities, known reference weights, and target values. To simplify operation, it features three separate displays showing total weight, reference weight, and the number of pieces at the same time. Up to 100 item memories can be stored, including details such as reference weight, tare weight, and container weight.
The system also includes a fill-to-target function, which provides visual and audible alerts once the target count or weight is reached. Accuracy improves as you work thanks to the automatic optimisation of the reference weight, which gradually refines the piece weight value. A protective cover for the display device is included with delivery.
The quantity scale is the robust side of the system, built with a stainless steel weighing plate and a painted steel base. It uses an aluminium single-point load cell that is IP65 protected against dust and splashes, ensuring durability in demanding environments. With a maximum capacity of 300 kg, it provides ample range for bulk counting tasks.
