The scale includes a memory (PLU) that can store item details such as text, reference weight, and tare weight for containers.
To make batch work easier, the CCS 3T-3 has a fill-to-target function. Once the set target weight or count is reached, the scale signals with both sound and light. Accuracy is enhanced during use by the automatic reference weight optimisation, which continually refines the average piece weight. A protective cover for the display is supplied as standard.
The KERN KIP-V20M quantity scale provides the strength and size to handle high-volume counting. Built with a non-slip corrugated steel plate and finished with a lacquered coating, it ensures safe placement of loads. Four steel load cells, silicone-coated and IP67 protected, deliver strong performance with resistance to dust and splashes.
This model supports a maximum load of 3000 kg on the quantity scale. The reference scale offers a fine readability of 100 mg, reproducibility of 0.0002 kg, and linearity of 200 mg. The quantity scale has a linearity of 2 kg, and the minimum piece weight under normal conditions is 1 g, making it suitable for even small components in bulk.
The platform measures 1200 × 1500 mm with a height of 108 mm, providing a slightly more compact footprint compared to larger models. The LCD display has 20 mm digit height, connects via a 5 m cable, and comes in a durable plastic housing. The display is protected to IP23, while the platform and load cells are IP65. The system has a net weight of about 110 kg and works in ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C.
