The CCS 3T-3L is a complete solution for fast and highly accurate counting of large volumes of items. By combining a precise reference scale with a high capacity weighing bridge, it offers the flexibility to count everything from small lightweight components to very heavy bulk items. This system can replace multiple individual balances, making it both efficient and cost-effective.
At the core of the system is the reference scale KERN CFS 6K0.1, which can also be used independently as a stand-alone scale. It allows operators to program key settings using the numeric keypad, including reference quantities, known reference weights, and target values. The display layout is clear and practical, with three separate screens showing the total weight, the reference weight, and the total number of pieces. For added convenience, the scale has a memory (PLU) that can store item information such as text, reference weight, and tare weight.
The system also includes a fill to target function, which makes batching and filling processes more accurate. Once the target count or weight is reached, the scale provides both an audible and visual signal. During operation, the reference weight is automatically optimised, ensuring piece weight accuracy improves as counting continues. A protective cover for the display device is included with delivery.
The second part of the system is the quantity scale KERN KIP-V20M, which handles high-volume counting on its large weighing bridge. The platform is built from non-slip corrugated steel plate and lacquered for durability. It uses four silicone-coated steel load cells with IP67 protection, providing resistance to dust and water splashes.
This model has a maximum weighing capacity of 3000 kg on the quantity scale. The reference scale provides a fine readability of 100 mg, reproducibility of 0.0002 kg, and linearity of 200 mg. The quantity scale has a linearity of 2 kg. The system can count even very small parts, with the smallest piece weight under normal conditions being just 1 g.
The weighing surface of the platform measures 1500 × 1500 mm with a height of 108 mm, making it suitable for bulky containers or palletised goods. The LCD display, with 20 mm digit height, connects via a 5 m cable, and the housing is made from durable plastic.
