The OBN 142C861 is a digital fluorescence microscope that combines the OBN 142 fluorescence microscope with the ODC 861 cooled camera and a matching C-mount adapter. It provides high quality Infinity Plan optics, strong LED illumination, and an advanced camera designed specifically for fluorescence applications.
The OBN 142 microscope features a 3 W LED transmitted light unit and a 5 W LED epifluorescence incident illumination system. A professional Koehler illumination setup includes an adjustable field diaphragm and a height adjustable Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) with a centering function and adjustable aperture diaphragm. A large mechanical stage with coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs ensures accurate sample positioning. The integrated fluorescence filter wheel has up to six slots and comes with B, G, UV, and V filters preinstalled.
The ODC 861 camera uses Sony CMOS sensor technology with Peltier cooling, which reduces noise when working under weak lighting conditions. With a 20 MP resolution, high sensitivity, and clear colour reproduction, it is suited for demanding fluorescence imaging. Realtime images can be transferred to a PC or laptop via USB 3.0, with additional USB 2.0 ports available. The camera is delivered with KERN VIS Pro OXM 902 software, a sturdy storage box for safe transport, and is powered by an external 12 V adapter.
