It includes a hermetically welded stainless steel load cell with IP68 protection, making it resistant to both dust and water splashes. The wing design of the substructure provides extra resistance against bending, while the earthed weighing plate helps reduce static charge, ensuring stable and accurate results.
The stainless steel display device is also IP68 protected and comes with an integrated power supply. It connects to the platform via a 2.5 m cable and can be mounted on a wall for convenience. The bright LCD screen has large 55 mm digits with backlighting, ensuring that results are easy to read even in poor lighting conditions.
The SXS 10K-3M is easy to use thanks to the standardised KERN menu structure. Weighing results can be printed out quickly, and settings are simple to adapt. Connectivity is supported through RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces, with optional Bluetooth available. This makes it possible to integrate the scale into existing networks, send data to printers, or connect with PCs for efficient data handling.
This model has a maximum capacity of 6 kg or 15 kg depending on the range, with readability of 0.002 kg or 0.005 kg. Minimum weight is 40 g or 100 g, reproducibility is 0.002 kg or 0.005 kg, and linearity is ±0.002 kg or ±0.005 kg. For piece counting, the smallest piece weight under normal conditions is 5 g.
