The OCM 167 is an inverted microscope with a stable design and a large working distance. This makes it especially useful for monitoring and analysing cell cultures.
It has a 5 W LED for bright field illumination. For fluorescence work, an Osram 5 W LED epi fluorescence unit is included, giving strong and clear light to stimulate fluorescence samples. The Abbe condenser with 0.3 aperture and 72 mm working distance helps direct the light well, both in bright field and fluorescence use.
A trinocular eyepiece tube is fitted as standard. The mechanical stage comes with a 110 mm specimen holder and lets you move samples quickly and smoothly. Extra brackets for petri dishes are supplied or can be added as accessories. Other accessories such as eyepieces, objectives, specimen holders, and phase contrast units are also available.
The microscope is delivered with a free OBB-A1515 camera adapter. This C-mount 0.5x adapter has adjustable focus and is designed for trinocular models, allowing you to connect a microscope camera for image capture and documentation. A dust cover and user instructions are also included.
