The OLM 170 is a compact inverted metallurgical microscope with a stable and ergonomic design. Illumination is provided by a 5 W LED, which is strong, long-lasting, and continuously adjustable. A trinocular eyepiece tube is fitted as standard. A simple polarising unit (analyser and polariser) is supplied, together with a large mechanical stage. Focusing is smooth and precise using coarse and fine knobs on both sides.
This model includes a pre-installed C-mount adapter on the back of the microscope, making it simple to connect a microscope camera without needing an external adapter. Additional objectives and accessories can also be added.
Delivery includes the built-in camera adapter, polarising unit, mechanical stage, dust cover, and user instructions.
