KERN Sound Level Meter - SW 1000 - Range 20 dB - 134 dB - Readability 0,1 dB - Class 1
KERN SW 1000
The SW 1000 is a professional sound level meter designed for demanding environments where accurate acoustic measurement is essential. Whether used in occupational safety, environmental monitoring, or technical testing, this device delivers reliable results across a wide frequency range. It is particularly suitable for outdoor applications such as airports, road traffic, and construction sites, where precise sound analysis is required.
With its modern microcontroller architecture, the SW 1000 ensures stable performance and high accuracy. A specially developed algorithm allows a dynamic range of more than 123 dB, making it suitable for both quiet and very loud environments. Three profiles and up to 14 user defined measurements can be calculated in parallel, giving the user flexibility to adapt to different scenarios.
The device supports frequency weighting filters A, B, C, and Z, as well as time intervals F (fast), S (slow), and I (pulse). It also includes LN statistics, peak hold, and a track function with a graphic display to follow measurements over time. With a measurement interval of up to 24 hours and optional 1/3 octave analysis, it is well equipped for extended and detailed sound studies.
Built with practical features such as calibration mode, optical alarm limits, external trigger start/stop, and multilingual operation, the SW 1000 is a versatile tool. Delivered in a robust transport case, it is ready for both laboratory and field use.
