KERN Sound Level Meter - SW 2000 - Range 25 dB - 136 dB - Readability 0,1 dB - Class 2
KERN SW 2000
The SW 2000 is a professional sound level meter designed for precise acoustic measurements in both indoor and outdoor environments. It is ideal for demanding applications such as workplace noise monitoring, airport and traffic noise surveys, or sound checks on construction sites. Thanks to its advanced technology, it combines accuracy, reliability, and user comfort in one compact device.
In this device there is a modern microcontroller that ensures stable operation and consistent measurement accuracy. A specially developed algorithm enables a dynamic range of more than 122 dB, making it suitable for both very quiet and extremely loud sound levels. Users can run three measurement profiles and calculate up to 14 user defined parameters in parallel, with flexible options for frequency and time weighting.
The device provides multiple analysis tools, including LN statistics, peak hold, and a track function that displays sound progression graphically. It supports frequency filters A, B, C, and Z, and offers time weighting modes F (fast), S (slow), and I (pulse). With an integral measurement interval of up to 24 hours and an optional 1/3 octave analysis upgrade, it is well equipped for detailed long-term studies.
Practical features like calibration mode, external trigger start/stop, optical alarm signal limits, and automatic timer function make the SW 2000 easy to adapt to specific measurement tasks. Delivered in a robust transport case, it is ready for both laboratory and field use.
