The LCD graphic display with backlight ensures that all readings are clear and easy to see, while the capacity bar display shows how much of the measuring range is still available.
The DA 5-3 offers Peak Hold to capture the maximum torque value and Track mode for continuous readings. A limit setting function allows users to program upper and lower limits individually, supported by clear audible and visual signals. It can be used in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, with additional safety from overload protection up to 120 percent of maximum.
The device can store up to 500 measurements in its internal memory. Data transfer is simple via USB and RS-232 interfaces. It operates on a rechargeable NiMH battery with up to 18 hours of use when the backlight is off, and includes an auto off function to save power.
